Farm and Town Enterprise began publishing circa 1961 by Janice and Dale Smith. It ceased and was continued by Akron-Fairgrove Enterprise in Fairgrove.

Akron-Fairgrove Times began publishing circa 1985 by Richard and Grace Nellett. It ceased circa 1991 and was continued by Akron-Fairgrove Community News.

Akron-Fairgrove Community News began publishing circa 1991 by Brenda Ryan. It ceased circa 1995 and was continued by News Connection of Fairgrove.

Caro (formerly Centreville)

Tuscola County Democrat began publishing circa 1867 with H. B. Cotter as editor. It ceased circa 1869.

The Tuscola Advertiser began publishing on Aug. 21, 1868 by H.G. Chapin. It was Republican. In the 1880s its title lengthened to Tuscola County Advertiser published by Fred Slocum.

The Caro News began publishing circa fall 1871. It was Democratic. It survived about 18 months.

The Tuscola Enterprise began publishing circa fall 1872 by W.H. Gresham. It was a temperance paper. It survived six weeks.

Caro Democrat began publishing circa 1878 by H. S. Harcont. It ceased circa 1879.

Caro Jeffersonian began publishing circa 1880 by Orton Williams.

The Caro Citizen was publishing by 1882. It was Democratic. It merged with Tuscola County Advertiser to become Caro Advertiser and Citizen.

Caro Advertiser and Citizen began publishing on Oct. 19, 1882 by George H. Pond. & Co.

Cass City

The Cass City Enterprise began publishing on Sept. 9, 1881 by Berry Bros. It ceased on Apr. 19, 1906 and was absorbed by Cass City Chronicle.

Tri=County Chronicle began publishing circa 1899 by F. Klump & Co. It ceased on Apr. 20, 1906 and was absorbed by Cass City Chronicle.

Cass City Chronicle began publishing on May 19, 1899 by F. Klump & Co.

Fairgrove

Fairgrove Enterprise began publishing circa 1898. It ceased and was continued by Farm and Town Enterprise of Akron.

Akron-Fairgrove Enterprise began publishing circa 1981 by Cap and Bernie Beller. It ceased circa 1985 and was continued by Akron-Fairgrove Times in Akron.

News Connection began publishing circa Feb. 1995 by Diane Foster.

Kingston

The Kingston Enterprise began publishing circa 1915. By 1927 it was published by Morgan L. Steele.

Mayville

Mayville Monitor began publishing on Mar. 26, 1884 by F.M. Johnson. It ceased by 1891 and merged with Saturday Sayings to form The Mayville Monitor-Sayings.

Saturday Sayings began publishing on Nov. 26, 1887 by Terry Corliss. It ceased by 1891 and merged with Mayville Monitor to form The Mayville Monitor-Sayings.

The Mayville Monitor-Sayings was publishing by Apr. 1891 by Terry Corliss. It ceased by 1903 and was continued by Mayville Monitor.

Mayville Monitor was publishing by 1903.

Unionville

The Unionville Sun began publishing Apr. 14, 1883 by Robert S. Tolland. By 1887 it was published by John Haible. It ceased by 1892 and was continued by The Unionville Crescent.

The Unionville Crescent was publishing by 1892 by H.F. Walker. It ceased circa 1958 and merged with Sebewaing Blade to form Sebewaing Blade and Unionville Crescent in Sebewaing, Huron County.

Vassar

Tuscola County Pioneer began publishing on Nov. 24, 1857 by Wallace R. Bartlett. It was Republican. It ceased on Sept. 6, 1912 and merged with The Vassar Times, to form Tuscola County Pioneer and Vassar Times.

The Vassar Times began publishing on Mar. 17, 1881 by Robert S. Tolland and Horace A. Miller. By 1894 it was published by Miller & Clyne. It ceased circa 1912 and merged with Tuscola County Pioneer, to form Tuscola County Pioneer and Vassar Times.

Tuscola County Pioneer and Vassar Times began publishing on Sept 13, 1912 by Pioneer-Times Print. Co. It ceased on Jan. 31, 1913 and was continued by .

Tuscola County Pioneer-Times began publishing on Feb. 7, 1913 by Pioneer-Times Print. Co.
