Press began publishing circa 1895 by W.J. Power.

The Baraga Review began publishing circa 1897 by Richard Feore. In 1900 it changed names to the Baraga County Republican.

Baraga County Republican began publishing circa 1900 by S.V. McElroy.

The Baraga Journal began publishing circa 1910 by Baraga Printing and Publishing Co. It was “Devoted to the advancement and prosperity of agricultural and lumber interests of Baraga County.”

L’Anse

The Industrial Age began publishing on Apr. 25, 1874 by Waldron & Bro. It lived six or seven months.

The L’Anse News began publishing circa late 1875 by Charles B. King and Sylvester Kenny. They used equipment purchased from The Industrial Age’s office. In 1876 King bought our Kenny’s share. The paper ceased in 1877.

The L’Anse Sentinel was publishing by Sept. 1890 by Sylvester Kinney. It was Republican. It continues L’Anse and Michigamme Bee which began publishing on May 1, 1880 in Michigamme, Marquette County. After moving to L’Anse, the paper was initially called Lake Superior Sentinel.

The Upper Peninsula Farmer began publishing on Aug. 28, 1913 by the L’Anse Chronicle Publishing Company.

The Baraga County Herald began publishing circa Nov. 1928 by L’Anse Publishing Co.
