Comins

Fairview-Comins News began publishing circa July 1938 with F.F. Stutesman as editor. (It is uncertain whether this title was published in Fairview or Comins.) It ceased later that year and was continued by The Northern Light.

 

The Northern Light began publishing circa 1938 with F.F. Stutesman as editor. It moved to Fairview on May 5, 1939.

Fairview News began publishing circa 1913.

 

Indian Lake

The Northern Mail began publishing on Oct. 15, 1881 by John Randall. By 1883 it had moved to Mio. It ceased on Mar. 29, 1894 and was continued by County Telegram.

 

Mio

Oscoda County Democrat began publishing on Apr. 30, 1892.

 

The County Telegram began publishing on Apr. 5, 1894 by John W. Finch & Co. It ceased later that year and was continued by The Mail-Telegram.

 

The Mail-Telegram was publishing by May 24, 1894 by John W. Finch & Co. It was Republican. It ceased circa 1914 and was continued by Oscoda County Telegram.

 

The Age of Reason began publishing on Oct. 18, 1894 by Oscoda County Democratic Campaign Committee.

 

Oscoda County Telegram began publishing circa 1914 by Telegram Pub. Co. It ceased circa 1915 and was continued by Oscoda County Telegram and News.
