Beaverton
Beaverton Clarion began publishing on July 26th, 1895 by W. Walter Dann & Sons. It merged with Gladwin County Record to form Gladwin County Record and Beaverton Clarion.
Cedar
Gladwin County Register began publishing on Oct. 18, 1877 by James S. Holden. Holden had earlier started the Farwell Register in Clare County.
Gladwin County Record began publishing on Mar. 26, 1878 by James S. Holden and later by Eugene Foster. On June 28, 1934 it merged with Beaverton Clarion to form Gladwin County Record and Beaverton Clarion.
Gladwin
The Gladwin Leader began publishing on May 29, 1890 by J.D. Doughty. It was absorbed by The Gladwin Democrat on Jan. 21, 1892.
The Gladwin Democrat began publishing on Apr. 24, 1891 by Spencer & Wilmot. In Jan. 1892 it absorbed the Gladwin Leader to become The Democrat-Leader.
The Democrat-Leader began publishing on Jan. 29, 1892 by Spencer & Wilmot. It ceased publication on Jan. 26, 1893.
Gladwin Enterprise began publishing on July 2, 1897 by James E. Spencer. It ceased July 28, 1899.
The Gladwin County Record and Beaverton Clarion began publishing on July 5, 1934 by H.M. Myers and F.E. Perlberg.
